EasyPOS

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 25 August 2026  ·  Publisher: Bit2Sky

This Privacy Policy explains how EasyPOS (“the App”, “we”, “us”), published by Bit2Sky, handles information when a shop owner or staff member uses the App to run their point‑of‑sale and business operations. By using EasyPOS you agree to this Policy.

In short: EasyPOS stores your shop’s business data (products, customers, suppliers, sales, staff) on your own business server and on your device. We do not sell your data or share it for advertising. The data belongs to you, the shop owner.

1.Who controls your data

EasyPOS is a business tool. The shop that installs and operates the App is the data controller of the business and customer records it enters. Bit2Sky provides the software and, where applicable, the hosting server that stores that data on the shop’s behalf.

5.How the data is used

6.Communication features

When you tap the WhatsApp, Call, or Email buttons for a customer or supplier, the App opens the relevant third‑party app (WhatsApp, phone dialer, email client) with the number/message pre‑filled. Those services have their own privacy policies. EasyPOS does not send messages on its own.

7.Data sharing

We share data only as needed to run the service — namely with the hosting infrastructure that stores your shop’s server data. We may disclose information if required by law. We never sell personal data.

8.Data retention & your control

Business and customer records are kept for as long as your shop account is active, so you have your history. As the shop owner you can add, edit, or delete customers, suppliers, and other records from within the App. To delete your entire shop account and its data, contact us using the details below.

9.Security

We use industry‑standard measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS) between the App and the server, and hashed on‑device storage for staff PINs. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your data.

10.Children

EasyPOS is a business tool intended for shop owners and staff. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

11.Changes to this policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will reflect the latest version. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated Policy.
